Purchased for the name alone: King Heffy. An Imperial Hefe by Howe Sound Brew. #beer

At first you don't know where the sweetness is coming from but then you read the bottle and yeah, you get the banana taste straight away. The hefe cloud is awesome and sunny. I like it, sunny for the summer. Drink up!

Check out the colour in this Driftwood Amber. A little dark for my summer tastes but smooth all the same. #beer

A "mellow ale" according to Driftwood. I get that from the dude on the label. Actually he got me into the bottle in the first place. Soooo comfy. I need me a hammock.

Pretty much love all Phillips so why not their Hefe? No better #beer on a hot #yvr day.

King of Wheat, no shit, first to last.

Loving the OK Springs Hefe too but Phillips brews such a kickass porter that their Hefe had to be good. Not disappointed.

Definitely invading their brewery in Victoria next visit.

Does #beer get better with age? Maybe but I wasn't about to wait until Canada Day 2011 for this Scottish Ale by Innis and Gunn

Couldn't place the sweetness at first but recognised the Toffee as soon as I read it off the label. The whiskey flavour was unmistakable from tip to finish, a bit overwhelming actually and more than I would want after two glasses or so. Not one to pollute you but a good sipper on a cool night. To Canada Day ...er... 2009!
