A beautifully smooth wheat from Fernie Brewing Co.: What The Huck. #beer

It's supposed to be a huckleberry wheat ale but I don't get the huckleberry. Super smooth though, easy to drink. Tried it yesterday and bought another today! That's some good beer. The clerk at Lennox Liquor hated it. She called it metallic and lousy. I trust the taste of that crew so it had me second guessing. I bought anyway and I'm glad I did: just as nice tonight.

My first Mt. Begbie Brew: Attila The Honey. Darker than the Hefes but just as sweet. #beer

Cool label art. That and Revelstoke sold me. Sweet, of course, with a longish after taste. Don't think I'd want more than one. Maybe I'm just bummed that summer is ending. A good brew but no King Heffy.

An anniversary like no other: 9 Donkeys Of The Hopocalypse by Phillips. #beer

Ingredients: water, barley, yeast and hops. No fewer than 9 hops: Centennial, Chinook, Cascade, Palisade, Amarillo, Citra, Millennium, Hallertauer, and Simcoe. I'm gonna go ahead and pretend that I can tell one from the other. More hops than I usually like but smooth. When I taste the hops like that they feel like the sit in the back of my throat. Nice flavour.
