Summer brings the ales: Surly Blonde by Phillips and White Bark by Driftwood #beer

How did I miss these two last summer?!? From Phillips: "Big as it's bite, this Belgian Triple is off the leash and running wild. Not your average house dog". Couldn't tell a Belgian Triple from a double but this strong beer is smooth and refreshing. Need to drink it really cold though, temperature hardens the bite. From Driftwood: "[...] a Belgian-style Wit, this beer is intended to be 'cloudy'. Subtle malt allows the floral essence of coriander and Curacao orange peel from the West Indies to balance the profile of this distinguished ale". Really? The West Indies? Something definitely sets this 'Wit' apart but orange peel? You be the judge. A nice quaff either way.
